Joseph Parker-Wilder Boxing: Former heavyweight world champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder will fight separate opponents on the same night as part of a stacked card on 23 December in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
When Joseph Parker, the former WBO heavyweight champion, fights Deontay Wilder on December 23, are many of us sleeping on Parker? It’s reasonable to say that the majority of fight fans thought, “It’s a decent fight, but Wilder will knock him out,” as soon as the bout was originally announced.
Fans will undoubtedly be frustrated that Joshua, 34, and Wilder, 38, will share a ring on December 23 but not square off against one another given their long-standing relationship.
Instead, Joshua will square up with Wallin, who lost only once in his career—to Tyson Fury in 2019. That evening, the 32-year-old Swede nearly won after severely cutting Fury’s right eye. Since then, Wallin has triumphed in six straight fights, and he now has a 26-1 career record (14 knockouts).
In the interim, Fury’s partner Joseph Parker (33-3, 23 KOs) will square off against Wilder. The New Zealander has won three straight fights after overcoming a stoppage loss to Joe Joyce in the previous battle.

Wilder vs Parker : What they said?
Fans are clamoring for a matchup between Wilder and Joshua, but Wilder is facing Parker.
But there’s new hope that the two heavyweights will square off after they have openly declared their intention to fight in recent weeks.
They now enter the ring on the same night and during the press conference for the announcement Wilder addressed AJ specifically.
“Seeing him face-to-face in the same room is a good thing,” the “Bronze Bomber” remarked.
